Life, lemons, and elephants

I have to go to work soon, but that doesn't bother me so much this morning.

My sister hid my mouse for my laptop, but that doesn't bother me so much either.

These annoyances are blocked but the unmistakable feeling of love.

I'm in love.

Now, when I tell you who I'm in love with, you'll think, "You're crazy! You can't love something like that!"

But I do, faithful reader, I do.

At first I thought about it, about a year ago, trying to decide what my favorite animal was, and then it hit me: Elephants.

I love Elephants.

But it's a strange love, I concluded on it last night.

Its hard to explain though, I love them so much, the mere sight of them puts me in a state of awe. They're majestic, if not gigantic, and they are also some of the most intelligent animals on the face of the earth, only rivaled by monkeys and dolphins.

I simply can't explain the feeling, but I can most likely tag it as love, and this goes beyond the simple, "Thats my favorite animal" bit, I never want to see harm come to an elephant, unnatural harm that is. I want to help them in any way I can.

This is part of the reason I want to be a National Geographic photojournalist. To see these amazing animals in the wild along with thousands of other astounding creatures.

I can't wait for senior year to be done, another strange thing to hear, but then again, I'm not you average person.

Oh well, I have to go to work now.
